Being truly passionate about the manicure and pedicure sector, Christina has always been focused on applying her expertise and influencing the beauty industry with her developments.
Over the course of her career Christina has worked with thousands of clients, providing more than 80,000 treatments. As a result she has learned first hand what clients really want and what professionals need to do to bring out the best of their skills. All of her expertise and research has gone into the design and development of each and every product and treatment within the Christina Fitzgerald Concept.
In the 80’s Christina’s career really started to take off when she started her first manicuring business in the heady, crazy rock star days of the Sebel Town House Hotel. Listening to her clients’ needs then and following her own constant drive for perfection, she searched for the best products available and quickly detected significant gaps in the market.
By the 90’s Christina moved onto her own salon, which won ‘Small Business Of The Year Finalist’ in 1996, and was one of Australia’s leading salons at the time. Christina furthered her passion for product development and went on to design her first polish formula and colour range, working closely with scientists and manufacturers to achieve the best results possible.
In July 2001 Christina Fitzgerald Australia was officially founded with the launch of the first polish collection, which quickly became a success in 400 outlets across the country, creating a buzz not only in Australia but also internationally. In April 2002 the opening of the ‘Christina Fitzgerald Academy for Manicuring and Pedicuring’ followed, using Christina’s accredited curriculums and applying her total passion for mentoring people within the industry and motivating them to become the very best.
Always inspired to keep developing and moving forward Christina has since worked tirelessly on a revolutionary launch – the Christina Fitzgerald Concept. True to her passion for perfection and encompassing all her knowledge and expertise, this first comprehensive range of luxury beauty products, tools, equipment, accessories, signature treatments and training specifically designed for the manicure and pedicure sector of the beauty industry is sure to inspire a global revolution.
The culmination of Christina’s lifelong dream was to be personally involved in every aspect of the design, development, manufacturing and testing process: “Over the years of owning and operating my own salons I have come to finesse the product development, tool design and signature treatments for the Christina Fitzgerald Concept in the most purposeful and relevant way possible: on literally thousands of hands and feet.
